Dear ADENA Partners, we have a new corporate case study for you from the official distributor in the Benelux region, SANEL. Hydrogen Europe chose AREC Media Capture System to produce educational and informative media content. Read about the organization and their experience with our products below.

Hydrogen Europe is one of the leading organizations promoting the global shift to a circular carbon-neutral economy. Spread in 20 EU regions, it counts more than 350 companies and 30 national associations as its members. To bring about the future with sustainable green energy, Hydrogen Europe successfully created different kinds of materials, including reports and studies, and now it seeks to spread the message through videos as well. Thus, the organization started looking for straightforward technology that its employees could use to produce content at a moment’s notice. With the assistance of our partner SANEL and integrator Axians, Hydrogen Europe went with the AREC Media Capture System.

To record and mix a computer with a PTZ camera, Hydrogen Europe got AREC KL-3 - a 3-channel Media Station with an inbuilt LCD screen. All basic controls, such as recording and streaming, switching of layouts, and front and back graphics are conveniently placed on the front of the device, making it simple for the operator to both see and control the media creation process. One of the reasons why Hydrogen Europe chose KL-3 is its ability to record both mixed and individual video sources as separate videos simultaneously. It is important since recordings take place in a specially designed room with a Sony display and a green screen, so additional effects are added to the produced videos. The station is used together with an AVer PTZ camera that captures the image of Hydrogen Europe presenters and a 4 lavalier microphone system for audio. With just these products, the organization now has a mobile solution that is versatile and easy to use at the same time.

Dear ADENA Partners, this time we have a corporate case study from one of our CIS partners Tayle. AREC Media Capture Systems can be used in a variety of settings to great effect, and companies using AREC to create training courses or conduct webinars know that for a fact. One of such companies, Tayle, set up online business training courses available to all titled “BeGuru” and used AREC solutions to record them.

Founded in 1992, Tayle is amongst the first IT companies to appear in the CIS region. Starting as a system integrator, the company gradually transformed into a distributor and manufacturer of its own brands. These past decades of experience working in all market levels gave Tayle's management team a unique understanding of business processes which they are offering in online business classes called “BeGuru”. To make sure that they can effectively connect with companies from all over the region, Tayle relied on Zoom video conferencing solutions. However, the quality and user experience of software-generated recording was not satisfactory, and so AREC Media Station was used to upgrade the whole system.

Tayle chose LS-300 for its ability to mix and record 3 video sources at the same time. With this model Tayle’s team mixed and used two cameras and computer slides simultaneously, switching camera angles for a more visually-striking effect. Another key LS-300 advantage, simplicity of control, proved very useful to Tayle’s team as they are able to switch between preset combinations of video sources, overlays, and backgrounds. The team prefers using AREC’s free software application for that, but other options, such as interactive GUI, control panels, mobile devices, cloud-based systems and more can be used to operate the station.

Tayle’s experience once again showed that AREC Media Stations excel when it comes to recording material in a user-friendly way. Is your organization also looking to improve the systems running your webinars? Contact us at a-dena.com and we will be happy to assist you.

Dear ADENA Partners, this time we would like to share a case study from our Danish distributor, UNIT. Together with the system integrator AV-Center, they have created a complete and mobile solution for recording and live streaming based on AREC for Electrolux.

Electrolux is a multinational and well-known brand of home appliances. They have numerous showrooms all over the world where they commonly invite retailers and regular customers to examine the appliances on the spot. In one of their Danish showrooms in Fredericia, those who purchased such products are invited to attend inspiration evenings, where they are given suggestions on how to best use a particular appliance in a kitchen setting. However, the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions required drastic changes to the way these evenings are held, and so Electrolux started looking for an easy-to-use and portable live streaming solution.

The appliance giant realized that AREC devices fit their requirements perfectly and chose a Network Camera and a Media Station for the showroom. CI-21H Network Camera is used to capture the speaker and invited chef’s interactions. This video feed is sent to a KL-3WT Media Station which applies elements like overlay and background, mixes it with other audio and video sources at the same time, and streams it to RTMP platforms. The station is made to be easy to use, and so all essential controls are available through the inbuilt touch screen - for example, users can start or stop recording, change how the video sources are shown, control sound, export videos, and even control the camera’s PTZ. Every device, including the wireless Sennheiser microphones, is installed in a portable rack and can be moved by the presenters at will. Per the words of Electrolux’s Thomas Brinch-Møller: “Now it is only the imagination that sets the limits for our further development of events, product training, and launches.”

AREC solution lets Electrolux continue providing top-notch service to their customers despite limitations imposed by social distancing and also opens new opportunities for the future on how to reach a whole new audience worldwide.
