All AREC Media Stations produce RTSP streams that can be accessed whenever the devices are working. To open this stream, you will need to use any video player capable of opening network streams and type “rtsp://ip address of your media station/movie”. When the stream loads, you will see the Media Station’s recording and streaming video output and you will also be able to hear the mixed audio output. RTSP streams are easy to start and they can be used for monitoring, to bring the Media Station’s video to another room without Internet streaming, and to connect a Media Station as an RTSP source to a software or hardware device among other applications. All Media Stations except LS-860 have the RTSP streaming function enabled by default. For LS-860 you can manually turn it on in the “Administrator” web page, “Video” tab -> “Server” page. If you would like to know more about this or other functions of AREC Media Stations, please contact us at www.a-dena.com and we will be glad to assist you.

Dear ADENA Partners, do you know what NDI-HX is? It is a codec that allows you to transfer both audio and video over IP, uniting all sorts of devices, such as professional PTZ cameras, computers, mobile phones and tablets, and other kinds via network. Last year we introduced NDI-HX to LS-860, and now we are bringing it to the most compact device in our product line, LS-US2. Powered by NDI-HX, LS-US2N can take computer feed via network, mix it with USB or IP cameras in a layout of your choosing, and stream it to any RTMP platform, such as YouTube, Wowza, and Vimeo, or integrated VCMS platforms, such as Panopto, Kaltura, and Opencast. What’s more, is that with NDI-HX you can use LS-US2N in video conference applications like a webcam as well, no converters required. Simply install NDI Tools on your computer and select LS-US2N as your video source.

The station is available now, so be sure to contact your local representative for more information or message us at www.a-dena.com and we will assist you.

Dear ADENA Partners, we are excited to announce the latest addition to the AREC product line, ARECast. Now included for free with every LS-860 and LS-860N, ARECast is a smart accessory for sharing your content wirelessly. Simply connect it to your computer, press the button, and send both audio and video to the Media Station for recording and streaming. ARECast makes cables obsolete - it works wirelessly via WiFi and can be up to 30 meters away from your LS-860 Media Station. Moreover, if you would like to share content from different computers, you can use additional ARECast buttons. ARECast makes it really easy to capture content for recordings like lectures, charts, videoconference meetings, and other material in all kinds of situations.

To start working, ARECast only needs the first-time pairing with an LS-860 Media Station. After it is paired, it can be used as any other Plug-and-Play device with a Windows or Mac computer.
