Dear ADENA Partners, we have a Christmas-themed case study for you this time, coming from the Parish Church of Our Lady of Consolation in Leuven, Belgium. Accomplished with our official distributor SANEL and integrator JORIS & CO, this case highlights the practicality and convenience of using AREC Media Capture Solution as an upgrade of existing media systems in houses of worship.

The parish, known in Dutch as O.L.V. van Troost Heverlee, previously relied on handheld camcorders to reach their online audience. Masses, prayers, and other ceremonies had to be first recorded, edited and uploaded online before parishioners could see them. That process took a considerable amount of time from start to finish, and even then, the resulting video had a shaking image and a distant, echoing sound. Already concerned about these two major inconveniences, and with upcoming Christmas events, the parish decided to look for alternative solutions that could save them time and improve recording and streaming quality and found them in AREC.

Thanks to the efforts of our partners, the Parish Church of Our Lady of Consolation was outfitted with AREC LS-200 Media Station and two AREC CI-21H PTZ Network Cameras. The parish quickly settled in with the new system that allowed them to automatically record and stream ceremonies live to multiple platforms in a layout of their choosing. Firstly, using CI-21H cameras made it easy for the parish to focus on the altar and invited speakers and to create stable, high-quality imagery. Secondly, the fact that LS-200 combines the video output of the cameras and mixes it with the microphone system itself not only improved the quality of the sound recording but also helped the parish save time.

With the AREC system in place, the Parish Church of Our Lady of Consolation is fully prepared for Christmas celebrations. Is your organization ready? Contact us at www.a-dena.com and we will help you find the right solution.

Dear ADENA partners, this time we are highlighting how, together with JSP Soluciones, AREC is helping "El Señor de la Misericordia" parish in Monterrey, Mexico to reach their audience remotely.

With quarantine restrictions in place, it is difficult to proceed with religious ceremonies in a traditional way. Thus, in order to celebrate Easter without endangering the general populace, the "Señor de la misericordia" parish started looking for ways to stream online. They first tried streaming with regular cameras, but the parish quickly found out that cameras took too much space, and cabling often got in the priest's way. Even more importantly, all cameras needed settings to be set up every time, and it put unnecessary stress and time pressure on the church.

A more convenient and user-friendly solution was required. The parish found it in AREC - specifically, KL-3W Media Station and CI-21HPTZ cameras. KL-3W supports up to 3 video inputs at the same time and can stream to two platforms in Full HD simultaneously. Users can set up different quality for their recording and streaming - thus, to save bandwidth and help viewers with slower Internet speed, The parish is streaming the mass service in HD. CI-21H captures a striking, crisp picture, and can be used with a remote controller and presets for maximum flexibility. These cameras can be connected via network and thanks to their x10 optical zoom, they can be installed further away from their target, solving space and cabling issues.

The combination of these devices allowed the "Señor de la Misericordia" parish to stream Easter celebrations unhindered to great success. You can see their streams yourself here. And if you would like to know more about how AREC can be used in your area of interest, contact us via our website www.a-dena.com and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

Festival "Practices of Development 2017" has been held in Moscow County, Russian Federation from Sep. 2nd to Sep. 6th. Many famous trainers and consultants like Radislav Gandapas, Nikita Nepryakhin, Elena Sidorenko, Gleb Arkhangelyskiy, Svetlana Ivanova and others were presenting there. It was great to see these people, listen to their speeches with a cup of coffee in a relaxing, and not formal atmosphere. But if we calculate the expanses of a 5-day trip to visit the festival, it’s not going to be little.

This is one of the reasons AREC created Media Capture System. Our Russian partner, Tayle – the best on the way, also has attended this festival. Marina Belousova – sales director of Tayle, appeared in this festival as a speaker and helped to organize AREC Media Capture System as a streaming solution for this great event. AREC Media Stations (MS-550 and KS-2), two Auto-Tracking System (TP-100) and  two IP cameras (CI-218 and CI-303) we capturing, recording and streaming the festival. The organizer of Festival "Practices of Development 2017"  was very satisfied with the performance of Media Capture System. He mentioned that he believes that via live streaming done by AREC Media Capture System, more people could join this event and enjoy the speeches of the presenter, and this is exactly what they are aiming for.
