our latest updates

Dear ADENA Partners, we have exciting news for you! With the new DS-4CU update 6.1.10.8 it is now possible to use up to 4 Shure MXA microphone arrays on the same DS-4CU station.

MXA microphone array series from Shure are known for their excellent audio and can be set up in numerous environments: schools, city halls, conference rooms, and more. Adding DS-4CU to your Shure setup will let you create unique tracking presets with up to 4 video sources, such as computers and network cameras, and automatically change your video image depending on the active speaker. You can output this video image into an AV system or videoconferencing hardware with a simple HDMI or VGA cable, through RTSP, or connect it to a computer with an accessory like RADA Bridge and use it as a webcam in any app.

Setting up DS-4CU is simple and doesn’t require complex programming - take a look at our ADENAcademy lesson dedicated to it to learn more about this product and its configuration.

Dear ADENA Partners, our latest case study features Team Danmark, a government-supported sport organisation. Thanks to the work of our distributor UNIT.DK and system integrator AV Center, the organisation created a streaming studio with AREC devices to share knowledge about their work and initiatives with the wider world.

Team Danmark is a government-funded sport organisation that was created to support Danish athletes in every way possible. For example, it assists with talent development, coordination of academic studies and sport careers, and researching the latest trends and implementing them practically for the benefit of athletes. Some of these activities are carried out online through streamed webinars, which require time, effort, and most importantly, third-party operators to set up. To ensure that the organisation can stream whenever it desires, and can easily produce high-quality videos on their own, Team Danmark requested our partners to design a professional, yet simple-to-use streaming studio.

UNIT and AV Center experts did just that, and installed an AREC LS-860 Media Station. The 4-channel model allows Team Danmark to record and stream up to 4 video sources in Full HD@60fps to two streaming platforms simultaneously, over-achieving the quality requirements of the organisation. The station serves as a central unit to which every other AV device in the room is connected. Multiple PTZ cameras, Sennheiser ceiling microphone system, and a computer running Teams conferencing software for bringing in remote participants are all mixed together with the organisation’s logos and backgrounds by the LS-860 and presented in customisable layouts. This combined audio and video output is returned to Teams as a webcam using the RADA HDMI to USB Bridge, giving the Teams attendees and streaming platform audience the same viewing experience.

What makes this setup easy to use is how well AREC integrates with various control options. In Team Danmark’s case, all the key functions that their employees require are displayed on a small touch tablet from a control system. Through a simple click, they can control the cameras’ PTZ positions, recording and streaming layouts, graphics, audio, and more. This means that the presenters can effectively manage the whole recording and streaming process themselves and fully focus on their tasks without a cameraman.

With their new streaming studio, Team Danmark is now able to deliver higher-quality webinars at will. Are you working on similar requests? Let us know at www.a-dena.com and we will be happy to discuss your project requirements.
