Both AREC CI-tracking cameras and RADA A-TC01 can work in an upside-down mode. However, this mode must first be activated via these cameras’ configuration tools. For the CI-series cameras, you will need to use the Tracking Config Tool application (download it here). When you install the application, connect your CI-series camera to the computer. In the Tracking Config Tool you will see a section called “Camera Installed Direction”. Tick “Upside Down” if you plan to install the camera that way, or set it to “upright” if it will be installed normally. Press “Apply” and your tracking settings will be saved. You can then disconnect the camera from the tool and start using it.
As for A-TC01 cameras, the configuration process is slightly different - firstly, launch the IVESmart tool. Click on “Setting” and “IP Address” to find the camera, tick the box next to the camera you want to configure, then press “Confirm”. Afterwards, press “Config.” in the “Teacher Tracking” block of the tool. You will see preview and PTZ controls as well as some other configuration options. To make the camera track upside down, tick “Camera flip” - you will see the results immediately in the preview screens.
If you are not able to connect your camera, or want to know more about the other options available to you via these tools, contact us at www.a-dena.com and we will gladly help you.
