With the RADA A-BR02 HDMI-to-USB Bridge, any device with an HDMI output can become USB. This model builds on the success of the A-BR01 and adds a number of new features that make it an even more versatile solution. These include:
120 FPS framerate in Full HD, making the device more applicable for advanced uses, gaming capture, and other scenarios, where higher framerate needs to be preserved.
PD charging port, making it possible to use the converter and simultaneously charge connected mobile devices and laptops.
Type-C interfaces and a detachable Type-C to Type-A cable in the package for maximum compatibility.
The A-BR02 version retains all the advantages of the A-BR01 as well, including a built-in HDMI loopthrough output, a 3.5mm Line input for voiceover, and a wide selection of supported video codecs, including MJPEG, NV12, YUY2, I420, and XRGB.
Using the A-BR02 is extremely easy – simply plug the HDMI device that you would like to convert in the HDMI input. Our converters accept all kinds of devices, including AREC devices like the Media Stations and Speaker Tracking Stations, and third-party devices like document cameras, cameras, camcorders, AV conferencing, and other hardware, gaming consoles, and more. If you would like to see the connected device on a local display, you can use the HDMI loopthrough output – it will pass the signal without processing, as if you connected that device to the display directly.
Next, connect the USB cable to your computer, mobile device, or other hardware where you would like to use the Bridge. The USB will power the Bridge and make it a selectable option in any application that allows you to choose your camera and microphone, including Zoom, Teams, Cisco Webex, OBS, and others.
And that’s that! The A-BR02 does not need any software to be set up to work, instead using common UVC drivers that automatically install when it is connected, meaning the user does not need to do anything but plug the cables.
