PLEASE NOTE: When updating firmware or looking for RS-232/TCP commands for Media Stations and DS-4CU, please pay attention to the hardware version of your device. If the serial number on your station contains “V” or "A" as the tenth syllable/digit, please download the VA1 version (post-2022 hardware version) of firmware update. Please refer to the attached guide if you do not know where to find the serial number.​

Alternatively, look at the MCU version of your Media Station. You can find it in the "Administrator" web page of the station -> "System" -> "Firmware". If the MCU version is 4.3 or 4.4, use the VA1 firmware update. If the MCU version is 6.x, use the pre-2022 firmware update.
