All LS and KL models with the latest 2.8 FW version are now able to use a special layout that will only show backgrounds and overlays - layout #0. In order to access this layout, enter the “System Administrator” web page of your Media Station, proceed to “Video” -> “Theme”. Create a theme, select the first layout available (unlike regular layouts, it does not have a source icon), select a background and/or overlay, give it a title and save. You will then be able to call this Theme using any of the control methods available for AREC Media Stations
Interlude themes can be used for many applications - they allow users to smoothly change speakers on stage and display information about the next speaker, adjust a scene, display sponsor information or other important information, and put a pause without actually pausing the stream.
